Craftsmanship is Top Notch... I went for the Laptop with Solar Panel and Faraday Bag so I'd have a standalone kit. I enjoy supporting makers of quality and this is a quality piece of equipment. I didn't mind spending the money because I don't have the time or patience to build something this cool. Even the USB cable is QUALITY...
I spend a lot of time in third world or off grid places and I'll enjoy this more than any other piece of gear I have because I can read and entertain myself with information that matters. I also can provide information that's useful for natural disasters, education, etc...in places like Nepal while I'm helping locals rebuild after an earthquake or something similar. It's weatherproof and quite possibly my favorite thing that I own now. I'm a simple man... haha
Been using the Gutenberg Project section to read Shakespeare and Emerson for the last two days. I could literally spend the rest of my life reading books on this thing and not come close to running out of options. It's like carrying a municipal library of useful and worthy literature in my backpack. I don't even mind the weight because of the usefulness of the information and the ability to share with others. This will go everywhere with me from here on out.

It was very well packed and heavier than I was expecting. Came with a very beefy power cable and charging brick which I was not expecting considering you dont even get one with new phones these days. I did pop it open to see if I can turn the inside into a faraday cage and saw the huge battery inside which really did impress me. Everything is so solid inside that I dont want to mess with it. I do need to learn to operate the OS, but that should not take long I think. I do want to shout out to Jose Negrete on youtube, if not for him I would never have found this.
