The heatsink is made of 1.6mm copper and includes all hardware, thermal pads, and nylon spacers
As tested the following was determined:
5°C lower once installed in closed air enclosure. Significantly greater with open air.
Prevents thermal throttling when workload is at or below 50% CPU utilization.
Has a high thermal mass stabilizing temperatures.
This is ideally implemented into a thin device, product or project where increasing thermal contact area is needed to spread thermal energy to the body of an enclosure.
